Second shoe is by far the most elegant IMO.
I would not want a wholecut in shell either.

I own the second one in the same leather. It is a very interesting shoe, but it is a bit clunkier in person than the photo suggests. Mine was made on a one-off basis, since my size/width is too small, so I don't know if the shape reflects my quasi custom last. In fact, 3 of my Vass one-off have the same clunky appearance, but I assumed it was a function of my foot and measurements taken in Budapest. I also have their Norweiger which is non clunky. Go figure.

Shooey, the Peter and New Peter lasts look a bit dull to me. They look a bit generic and potato shaped while lacking the character of the Budapester. I would say definitely go for the F last shoes. You won't regret it.

The folks at New York are too serious for this type of shoe. This is a good shoo to wear in various parts of Australia...parks and green places, and the country.

I'm sorry Shooey, I don't like any of those at all. The ones with the holes in them remind me of the original purpose behind broguing on shoes, and the bottom ones are a little too Roman gladiator for me..
