Re: My Official Return to AAAT -

And I should just say, Tony, that I post there anyway under a handful of names as it is.
With me as only one presence on their site they have a neater discussion going on. Fewer trolls.
No?

Re: My Official Return to AAAT -

307 views on this since this morning on a small site dedicated to providing an alternative to the mainstream clothing foras...

Imagine the hits I could drum up for you Andy if my name was out there on your forum.

You'd control my input via your Mods, but you'd have a poster who people knew & were interested in on your site.

All killer, no filler - That's the point of Sparrow's arrow!

I'm offering you a business deal here nobody else could...

For there is but one -

JACK!

Re: My Official Return to AAAT -

Do You...?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

... Think I should post on 'Ask andy About Trad' under the name 'Russell Street 2' and not bother you on your forum with any of my rubbish?

If elected to Andy's forum I will never post here again. Promise.

And nor will any of my 6 SF sock puppets.

In addition I will never mention SF again or any of its members in any context.

It will be as if I didn't exist.

Worth it, surely?

Vote now - Vote 'Go Away Larry to AAAT'.

You know I make scents.

Russell.

^  Just posted this on SF to help my nomination to AAAT.

Re: My Official Return to AAAT -

I don't know. I've been banned so often from so many websites, I tend to view these things as a matter of pride. I could get a new computer and pretend to be someone else. I like Harris and I miss him. But I don't like him that much. screw it. It's a matter of pride. and it isn't like I could learn much. I haven't read the site since I was banned. It isn't like there is an officer on deck.

Re: My Official Return to AAAT -

A little update:

"11 October 2007

Dear David,

Andy is a nice and gentlemanly fellow and wishes to give you another
chance to be the same. However, it is we of the moderator corps that
ended up handling the hundreds of Post Reports your previous - and
legendary - trolling managed to generate. Many, many hours of time were
wasted in this endeavor. Thus I have taken it upon myself to seek his
permission to be the person respond to your request which I do as follows:

1] You will learn and observe all of the rules of the AskAndy forum
2] Until the moderator corps decides otherwise, all of your posts will
be moderated
3] You will cease participating in the AskAndy forum bashing and AskAndy
member bashing which regularly occurs on FNB.
4] You will provide Andy with your real name and an e-mail address, a
paid-for one which contains the name David.

Should these simple caveats not continue to be followed, you will simply
be banned again. Your acknowledgment of and agreement to this message
will precipitate us reviving your Russell Street name. It will also
precipitate a post by one of we moderators, on the Trad forum,
announcing our decision to re-admit you and why.

Yours truly,
Alexander Kabbaz,
Senior Moderator"

So I replied:

"Hello Alex -

I think that is incredibly fair and I'm very grateful to you and your team for taking the time to bother with what we both know is a very cheeky request on my behalf.

We almost have a deal too, but sadly there is no way I would ever use my real name on the internet.I have a business to run and a family to think of. Nobody would be surprised that I was an internet troll I think, but it would expose how little of my working day is actually spent working here in my little dusty study... My wife might start wanting me to do chores around the house as a result.
I think you know that any name I ever gave you would always be a false one even if I swore the opposite. I could provide a paid for email account including the name 'David' but David is my late cousin's name, not mine.

If we can do a deal on this little aspect then we'll be in business - I have no problem with any of your other requests which seem entirely reasonable to me and, to be honest, rather generous.

Any chance of a little flexibility on that point?
You don't really know anybody else's name for sure unless they tell you it & even then they could be lying. At least I'm openly telling you up front that I intend lying. Shouldn't that kind of honesty on my behalf be rewarded just a little?

All the very best, love what you do -

"Russell"  "

So maybe we can do a deal. Who knows?

Re: My Official Return to AAAT -

The problem is with the above is that Paggs has previously released personal information about others users on the AAAC site.  There are also two others here who claim that he has done so after they've bought gear from him via e-commerce.  His own fellow moderators have implicated him in this behavior.

Hundreds of post reports?  Oh please.  Do that many people really care & go to that kind of trouble?  Before I knew you were, I pretty much ignored those threads of yours that I didn't find of interest.

Good luck though Russell.
